I created this piece as a shoutout to all women and encourage the appreciation of self. The colour palette I purposefully chose, was one of warmth, nurturing & love which are traits relating to the feminine goddess spirit. The main thinking behind this painting was of a woman looking at a man saying I don’t need validation from you so ‘p*ss off’.

In our modern times women still feel like they need to portray a certain level of beauty and follow a set of aesthetic rules be deemed attractive or worthy. In truth we no longer have to live in the male gaze to gather self esteem , we are capable of this ourselves.

We can all be a witness to our own beauty without the need for outside approval. Just like fingerprints & snowflakes we are all unique.
